Inkling of Hope
希望之启示

making impact one pencil stroke at a time

We are Team Solis, a group of high school students working hard to provide companionship in the form of coloring books to cancer children patients all the whilst encouraging necessary conversations and reminders about mental health in our community.

Our Story

The idea of 陪伴 or Companionship is what kindled the flames of inspiration behind Project: Inkling of Hope.

Although we are not personally effected by the destructive nature of cancer, we wanted to offer our presence and support in the form of a coloring book. At the same time, in the face of mental stress, 陪伴 and Companionship are exactly what individuals need.

We want to change our community one coloring book, one positivity tag, and enamel pin at a time.

About us

Founders

Annica Wang-
Founder of Project Inkling of Hope, connected one of her earliest childhood activities of coloring as a method for de-stressing. Still guilty of doodling on the corner of her class notes and shading in her stick figures, she realized that coloring could be a venue of stress relieving accessible for everyone to do—and is especially enjoyed by children.

Vivian Li-
Co-founder of Project Inkling of Hope, started her artistic career since age 3 when vandalizing her house walls with crayons. Now, she is devoted to spreading artistic passion and through many arts service opportunities realized that art has great power to bring strength and happiness to children worldwide.
